Highland Creek Band from Rec. Centre to main court. Duly noted, not part of the
Pickering Ribfest.

12:05 - 12:45 - The Himig Gospel Singers. The
up-tempo Himig gospel singers started out as a group of young people with the
same passion for singing. Missing out on the opportunity to sing as a group
fresh out of high school, Rey Alan Lacuin formed this group in 1988 along with
his classmates.

1:00 - 1:45pm - Will Nash of Durham Radio introduces the Pickering Concert
Band. This band has been playing togethre since 1989 and their performances
include Pickering Tree Lighting ceremonies, Senior's Poinsetta Teas, Pickering
Artfest, Pickering Village Museum opening, Durham Regional Police Games and
their annual Christmas and Spring concerts. They are a non-profitable
organization funded by charitable donations and concert tickets. Rehearsals are
currently under the leadership of Doug Manning.

"The Heat" is the official band of the Durham Regional Police. Since
it's inception in 2006, the band has given out 35,000 free copies of its CD
entitled "Bullies Ain't Tough" to local students.

3:30 - 4:10pm - Gypsygrass Set 1. Gypsygrass has been playing to audiences in
the Durham Region and other parts of southern Ontario for the past 8 years. The
band plays original music written by lead singer and guitarist Dianne
Hanko. The music is a blend of modern folk-rock infused with world essences.
